The home inspection process began with a thorough exterior evaluation. The inspector reviewed the condition of the roof, siding, windows, and foundation, noting any signs of damage, wear, or potential issues. Aerial photography was utilized to capture a comprehensive overview of the property, highlighting the roof's structure, drainage systems, and landscaping from above. This perspective allowed for the identification of any areas that may require attention that aren't easily visible from the ground.
Next, the interior inspection commenced. Each room was assessed for structural integrity, electrical systems, plumbing, and overall safety. The inspector looked for signs of water damage, mold growth, and appliance functionality. To enhance this part of the assessment, interior 3D twinning was employed. This advanced technique created detailed digital models of the home’s layout, providing a three-dimensional perspective of spatial relationships, and helping to visualize areas needing repairs or improvements.
During the inspection, particular focus was made on key areas such as the attic, basement, and crawl spaces, as well as the condition of HVAC systems. The findings from both the interior and exterior inspections, combined with the insights from aerial photography and 3D models, allowed for a comprehensive evaluation of the home’s overall condition.
This multifaceted approach culminated in a detailed report summarizing any issues found, maintenance recommendations, and potential areas for improvement, ensuring that the homeowners had all the necessary information to maintain the property effectively and address any concerns.
